With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James S. Scott of Grayson, Kentucky, born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Scott Jr. and Irene Lowe Scott; his brother John Anthony Scott; and his parents-in-law, Ottis and Edna Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Floyd Scott of Grayson; his children, Tammy Scott Mullins and Bryan Stephen Scott (Melanie) of Grayson; and his grandsons, Kaleb Scott Mullins of Knoxville, TN, Trey Stephen Scott of Grayson, Ty Randall Scott of Grayson, Tate James Scott of Grayson and Brother Jerry Michael Scott (Anna).
In addition, he was an integral part of the First Church of Christ Food Pantry from its beginning, as well as serving with Meals on Wheels after he retired, delivering meals to those in need until the program ended during the Covid-19 pandemic.
