He is survived by: his children, Jami Smith of Grayson, KY, Sara Burton (Breck Hogan) of Hitchins and James Franklin "JimBob" Burton III; and his siblings, John Trent Burton of Grayson, KY, Connie Autry (Dale) of Ringgold, GA, Judy Brittingham (Robert) of Chattanooga, TN and Peggy Bell (Galen) of Ooltewah, TN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
