He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stephen and Edna Jacobs Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Smith Phillips; his son Michael (Cindy); his grandson Ryan of Grayson; and his siblings, Bill (Frieda) of Venice Florida and Dr. Edna Fuson of Delta Alabama.
