She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Adkins and Ibby Skaggs Adkins; her husband Steve Maggard; and her siblings, Elva Adkins, Ersel, Okie, Azel and Foster Adkins.

She is survived by: her daughter Christie Fyffe (Duane) of Grayson; and her brother Acie Adkins of Florida.
