He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Burnett and Audry Mae Carroll Burnett; his wife Phyllis Bush Burnett; his siblings, Pauline Burnett, Mary Louise McGlone, Robert Lee Burnett, Clyde Burnett and Paul Raymond Burnett; and his son-in-law Robert "Bob" Plummer.
He is survived by: his children, James Burnett (Denise) of Grayson, Greg Burnett of Grayson, Bill Burnett of Grayson, Russell Burnett of Grayson, Keith Burnett (Melissa) of Grayson, Pam Plummer of Olive Hill and Kay Sparks of Grayson; and his siblings, Lillie Ryder of South Vienna, OH, Garnett Messer (Lowell) of Grayson, Hazel Messer of Olive Hill and Richard Burnett (Anna Mae) of Iron Hill. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
