He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Elliott and Sarah Alene Holbrook Elliott; and his brother-in-law Robert Jackson. He is survived by: his siblings, John Dean Elliott of Grayson, Charles Ray Elliott of Grayson, Theresa Sue Jackson (Terry) of Grayson, Donna Lou Jackson of Greenup and Judy Ann Barker (Sam) of Rush. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
