She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Freize and Rebecca Seagraves Freize; her husband Lowell Conrad Steele; and her siblings, Dorothy Willis, Stella May and Timothy Freize.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Steele (Tammy) of Oldtown, Sheila Watts (Tom) of Louisville and Annette Hughes (Ian) of Grayson; and her brother Arthur Freize (Janie) of Grayson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
