She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer D. Davis and Lula B. Bowyer Davis; her husband James S. "Jim" Sylvester; her son Mickey Ray Sylvester; and her siblings, Freda D. Reger, Wilfred E. Davis, William E. Davis, Elmer D. Davis and Donna D. Kincade.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmie A. Sylvester of Prestonsburg, KY, Cherie S. Johnson (Willis) of Grayson and Marye Beth S. Hawkins (Jim) of Kilmarnock, VA; her grandchildren, Christa J. Hargraves (Dave) of Willard, KY, Carey J. Beaulieu (Kevin) of Beaver Creek, OH and Colleen Cosey of Washington, D. C.; her great grandchildren, Logan Hargraves, Tyler Hargraves, Rylan Hargraves, Sean Beaulieu and Aiden Beaulieu; and her sisters-in-law, Annie Davis and Peggy Sylvester.
