He was predeceased by: his parents, Vess Owens and Myrtle Riley Owens; his wife Mary Gulley Owens; his sons, Darryel Owens and Rickie Owens; his grandson Ben Owens; and his siblings, Lloyd Owens, Danny Owens, Darryel Owens, Charles Owens, Ramona Owens and Yvonne Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Forrest Allen Owens of New Castle, IN, Terry Owens (Beverly) of Noblesville, IN and Beverly Sue Owens of Grayson, KY; and his brothers, Donald Jewett Owens of Emerson, KY, Robert Owens of Laurel, KY and Jimmie Owens of Emerson, KY. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
