He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Miles McDavid, Sr. and Ruth Kathleen Hammonds Hardy; and his siblings, Johnny McDavid, Jimmy McDavid, Glen McDavid, Loretta Hardy, Bonnie Dell Hardy and Glen Hardy.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rice McDavid; his children, Tim McDavid (Sherry) of Ashland, Danny Bradley of Greenup, Josh Marshall (Sarah) of Rush, Margie McDavid of Flatwoods, Regina Jenkins of Knoxville and Bobetta Horsley of Greenup; and his sister Louella Stone of Grayson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren.
