She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. Roberts and Sadie Forrest Roberts; and her husband Leonard Carter. She is survived by: her children, Joel Carter (Donna Marcum) of Grayson, KY, Pat Carter (Becky) of Grayson, KY, Ben Carter (Sandy) of Ocala, FL and Becky Kratzenberg (Richard) of Grayson, KY; her grandchildren, Misty Menifee (Scott), April Alexander (Derek), Amanda Williams (Collin), Sarah Carter, Amy Carter, Jasmine Kratzenberg (Jimmy Burton), Nicholas Kratzenberg, Ashley Cox (Clinton) and Cole Carter (Kate); her great grandchildren, Austin Alexander (Alesha), Sadie Disney (Paul), Macy Menifee, Gabriel Williams, Bella Williams, Ivy Grace Cox and Lilly Faith Cox; and her great great grandchildren, Drake Alexander, Abigail Disney and Miles Disney. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (325 Malone Ln, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
