He is survived by: his parent Lula Conley Elam; his wife Glenna Roark Elam; his children, Steve Sharp (Ruth) of Grayson, Harvey Elam of Grayson, Billy Elam (Kristen) of Grayson, Alex Elam (Whitney) of Grayson, Joey Elam (Iesha) of Grayson, Angie Sharp of Grayson and Donella Porter (R. D.) of Olive Hill; and his sisters, Deloris Thomas and Lavern Bush. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren.
