He was predeceased by: his parents, Dearl Kitchen and Belva Fultz Kitchen; his wife Betty Lou Kennedy Kitchen; his son Larry David Kitchen; and his sister Diane Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Rocky Kitchen of Grayson, Kentucky and Debra Jane Kitchen of Grayson, Kentucky; his grandsons, Jeremy Smith, Matthew Wells and Alex Smith; his great grandchildren, Waylon Smith, Kara Mabry, Jenna Counts and Anniston McWhorter; and his siblings, Chet Kitchen of Grayson, Audie Kitchen of Blue Springs, Missouri, Irene Walters of New Mexico, Carolyn Jobe of Willard and Nadine Sexton of Willard.
