He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kenis and Emma Musser Zornes; his son Paul Zornes; and his siblings, Trinnie Thompson, Kathryn Gillium, Mabel Greene, Ollie, Clifford, Bruce, Vernon, Ernie and Raymond Zornes.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Rister Zornes; and his son Gary Zornes of Grayson. He is also survived by five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
