He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Stapleton and Letha Mae Meadows Stapleton; and his wife Norma Stephan Stapleton. He is survived by: his children, Duane Stapleton (Tracy) of Grayson, Kentucky, Bryan Stapleton of Grayson, Kentucky and Shelly Conroy of Grayson, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Amanda McDavid, Crystal Wilburn, Amy Adams, Christopher Berry, Derek Stapleton and Brandon Berry. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
