He is survived by: his parents, David C. Blanton and Katherine Wagoner Blanton; his grandparents, Leonard Blanton, Oscar, Violet Wagoner and Sarah Blanton of Grayson; his sons, David Whyatt Blanton of Rush and Gabriel Thomas Blanton of Rush; his siblings, Richard Maxwell Blanton (Tera) of Ashland, Amanda Willis (Adam) of Garrison, KY and Amy Felty (Mason) of Rush; his close friend Jamie Nunley; his stepchildren, Kayla Nunley of Grayson and C. J. Nunley of Grayson; and his parents-in-law, Mickey and Denise King. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
