She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Wheeler and Norma Jean Roberts Wheeler; and her siblings, Donald Rice, Wanda Wheeler and Teresa Hutchinson.

She is survived by: her son Michael Mullins (Carrie) of Grayson, Kentucky; and her brother Gary Jessie Wheeler of Ashland.
