Cains, Cecil Cains, Cloe Gillman and Madge Marcum; his children, Mike Cains (Rita) of Grayson, Rocky Cains (Nadine) of Denton, Claude Cains, Jr. of Denton, Becki Grimmett (Michael) of London, OH and Angela Wilburn (Keith) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Michael Cains, Derrick Cains, Chad Cains, Joshua Cains, Maranda Michelle "Squirrel" Cains, Jarrod Kelly, Jordan Bates (Luke), Amanda Williams (Zachary), Candace Renea "Tadpole" Newland (Dakota), Justin Tyler "Bobo" Cains, Ryan Wilburn and Kara Price (Tyler); and his sisters, Faye Evans of Flatwoods, Dottie Cole (Darrell) of Catlettsburg and Ruth Marcum of Hitchins. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
