He is survived by: his parents, Danny Claxon and Cheri Barber Claxon; his fiancée Kaitlin Spillman; his children, Brooklyn Claxon, Sierra Claxon, Brey'uana Claxon, Haley Claxon, Charles Lee Claxon, Danny Joe Claxon, Harley Spillman, Bentley Spillman and Addison Brooke Tackett; his grandmother Lucille Barber of Sandy Hook; and his siblings, J. D. Claxon (Jessica Joseph), Rhonda Dewees of Olive Hill, Bridgett Kay Claxon of Grayson, Tiffani Hensley (Dan) of Grayson and Keileigh Claxon of Grayson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
