He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis H. Spaulding and Alta Benjamin Spaulding; his wife Frances Clifton Spaulding; his siblings, Willis, Donald Spaulding and Mary Heimbold; and his sister-in-law Loretta Greene Clifton.
He is survived by: his stepson Lew Napier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews who were all like his children.
