He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Carson Sr. and Eva Marie Doughman Carson; his wife Wanda Jean Dickens Carson; and his brothers, Edward Carson and Charles "Ox" Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Carl "Bud" Carson (Kimberly) of Grayson, Kentucky and Wanda Jackson of Grayson, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jeremy D. Carson, Jason C. Carson and Brittany Jackson; his great grandchildren, Nova Bartee and London Bartee; his siblings, John Carson (Diane) of Kenton, Ohio, Robert "Kit" Carson (Linda) of Kenton, Ohio, Richard "Dick" Carson (Bev) of Kenton, Ohio, Peg Cronley (Bob) of Columbus, Jean Kearns (Joe) of Kenton and Kathy Beair of Lakeview, Ohio; and his sister-in-law Anita Carson of Mayberry, Ohio.. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
