He is survived by: his children, Amanda Mathews of Morehead, Steve Mathews of Union and Dustin Mathews of Muhlenberg County; his stepson Brian Keith Williams of Brookville; his siblings, Everett Mathews of Eaton and Evelyn Fugate of Ohio; his grandchildren, Kendra Marshall, Kieran Fankell, Alivia Fankell, Jordan Mathews, Grace Mathews, Melissa Mathews Echerd and Aaron Mathews; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Echerd, Elise Echerd, William Echerd, Isaiah Echerd, Vincent Haynie, Oliver Haynie and Octavia Mathews.
