He was predeceased by: his parent Emzy Varney; his wife Madeline Varney; his children, Edgar Varney, Danny Varney and David Varney; his son-in-law Ray Skaggs; his grandson Timmy Varney; and his siblings, Eddie Varney of Winchester, Judy Woosley (Jimmy) of Winchester and Pat Slone of Louisville.
He is survived by: his parent Ethel Wolford Varney; and his children, Ricky Varney of Stone, Madonna Skaggs of Grayson, Ralph Varney of Somerset, Tina Varney of Grayson, Lynette Varney of Grayson and Carrie Murphy of Grayson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
