He is survived by: his wife Helen Johnson Maggard; his daughters, Nancy Maggard of Bath County and Rena McDavid of Grayson; his grandchildren, Johnathan, Bobi Maggard and Shelly P'Simer; his great grandchildren, Ashley Thompson, Katie P'Simer and Hunter P'Simer; his great great grandchildren, Serena Thompson and Kaiden Thompson; and his siblings, Judy Thompson of Flatwoods and David Maggard of Grayson.
