He was predeceased by: his parents, David Van and Eliza Robinson Evans; and his siblings, David "Red" Evans, Pat Evans, Arthur "Cat" Evans, Cloma Jordan and Eloise Messer.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Perry Evans; his children, Robert Evans (Pam) of Grayson, Jacqueline Evans of Alexandria, Sherry Evans of Grayson and Kim Evans of Grayson; his siblings, James "Bo" Evans of Grayson, Greta Adams of Grayson, Alma Jo Bowling of Grayson and Edith Jones of Grayson; and his granddaughter Jessica Ballard. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great -granddaughters.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions, there will be a private graveside service Lester Bowling, officiating.
