She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Brammell and Lindy Brammell; her husband George McGinnis Scott; her siblings, Bill Brammell, Bonnie Sue Brammell and Joy Dickerson (Lowell); and her nephews, Keith and Kevin Dickerson.

She is survived by: her great-nephew Alex Dickerson (Amanda); her great-niece Rachel Dickerson; her son Matthew James Gore; her niece Jennifer McGlone of Grayson; her nephews, Bill Brammell of Odessa, FL, Pat Brammell of Tampa, FL, Kent Taylor of Astoria, OR and Jeffrey Scott (Mary) of Grayson; and also Shelia Dickerson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Leon Church of Christ and Hospice.
