She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Johnson and Lena Johnson; her son Timothy Purnell; and her siblings, John Johnson, Floyd Johnson, Audrey Hicks and Rosemary Parsley.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd Purnell of Grayson, Kentucky, Carl Purnell of Grayson, Kentucky, Alan Purnell of Grayson, Kentucky, James Purnell of Chillicothe, Ohio and Margie Tackett of Grayson, Kentucky. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
