He was predeceased by: his father Archie Scott; his daughter Billie Jean Scott; and his brothers, Johnny, Tommy, Leroy and James "Jabo" Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Ed (Dora), Archie of London, Tommy, Pat, Shelia (Lonnie) of East Bernstadt, Charlie of Danville, Jamie of Florida, Bertha Mae of Georgetown and Donnie of Ohio; and his siblings, Doug Scott (Peggy), Betty Wilson of East Bernstadt, Diane Gerhardt (Jim) of Berea, Bonnie Wilson of North Carolina and Willard Scott of Illinois. He is also survived by grandkids, along with other family members.
