He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Wells and Ada Chadwell; his wife Teena Wells; his siblings, Coy E. Wells, Pat Proffitt and Judy Karr; and his mother-in-law Druscilla Higgins Woolum.
He is survived by: his daughter Arlinda Henry (Ken); his sisters, Betty Jones and Norma Davis (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Rufus Higgins (Thelma) and LaVetta Mahan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a great-nephew, along with many friends.
