He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Carter Sr. and Nancy Sasser Carter; his wife Tina Wooten Carter; and his siblings, J. C., Everett Lee, Carl, Robert "Bob" Carter and Tennie Rhodes.
He is survived by: his children, Mickey Carter, Marlena Carter, Christina Carter, Crystal Marie Carter, Amber Carter and Tammy Jones; and his siblings, Harrison Carter and Laura Adams. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
