He was predeceased by: his parents, Emenal "Uel" Messer and Joann Foley Messer; and his brothers, Euell David Messer and Jimmy "ToeJoe" Messer. He is survived by: his siblings, Sherry Jenkins (Nealy), Jerry Messer (Tina), Donna Hinkle (Glen), Rhonda Johnson (Kenny) and Preston Messer; his children, Amber Kayla, Seth, Stephanie and Douglun; and his close friend April. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
