He was predeceased by: his parents, Emenal "Uel" Messer and Joann Foley Messer; and his brothers, Euell David Messer and Jimmy "ToeJoe" Messer. He is survived by: his siblings, Sherry Jenkins (Nealy), Jerry Messer (Tina), Donna Hinkle (Glen), Rhonda Johnson (Kenny) and Preston Messer; his children, Amber, Kayla, Seth, Stephanie and Douglun; and his close friend April. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
