Pamela Ann Basile Owens Obituary
Pamela Ann Basile Owens, age 70, of Gray, KY passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Virginia Basile and her husband, Kenneth Owens.
Pam devoted most of her life to Church ministry and online worship. She loved to play online games and attend online worship around the world. Pam loved to travel and see the world thru someone else's eyes. Pam was born blind, raised in San Francisco California where she learned to function as a blind member of her community. She was always doing many tasks that many sighted people wouldn't do. She traveled throughout her community by herself. When Pam and Ken moved from the city to Kentucky, they made their home in Knox County on the farm. She loved the open space and the farm animals; she especially loved her Dog, Lucky and her cats: Cotton and Midnight. She will be dearly missed by her friends and extended family.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 at Calvary Cemetery in Corbin KY where she will be laid to rest by her husband, Ken.
