He was predeceased by: his parent James L. "Bud" Lawson. He is survived by: his parent Eva Maxey Lawson; his son Cody Lawson of Gray; and his siblings, Lester Wayne Lawson (Betty) of London, Roger Lawson (Pam) of London, Stevie Lawson (Joyce) of London, Kimberly Ellis (Hugh) of London and Ronnie Lawson of London.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
