With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ed Wayne Gibson of Gray, Kentucky, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gibson and Effie Garrison Gibson; his siblings, Marie Blair, Laura Laverne Surgener, Jean Brooks, Maude Dean Stewart and Darrell Gibson; and his grandson Ricky Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Dell Gibson of Gray; his children, Darlena Barton (Roy) of Corbin, Ricky Gibson (Paula) of London, Doug Gibson (Karen) of Gray, Karen Branstutter of Gray, Shelia Hibbard (Jimmy) of Corbin and David Gibson (Liz) of Dalton, GA; and his sister Janie Montgomery of Richmond. He is also survived by grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
