He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Wyatt Hensley; his son Steven Ray Hensley; his parents, Earl Hensley and Beulah Mason Hensley; and his brothers, James David Hensley and Larry Wayne Hensley.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Smith (Willard) and Denver Hensley (Amy); his grandchildren, Stephen Smith, Addison Rae Hensley, Keith Siler, Jeremiah Coleman, Connor Coleman and Caleb Coleman (Brenda Mitchell); his great grandchildren, Estill Harris, Jonathan Harris, Jesse Nolan, Johnny Nolan, Lela Nolan and Henry Nolan; and his siblings, Virginia Wyatt (George), Robert Hensley (Debbie), Glennis Hensley (Freda) and Timothy Hensley (Teresa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
