He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Henson and Margarette Faye McWilliams Henson; his daughter Christy Henson Hiles; his niece Whitley Paige Medlin; and his nephew Dylan Reynolds.
He is survived by: his siblings, Vivian Henson Sears (Jerry) of Gray, Deborah Henson Baird (David) of Cannon and Larry Henson (Alana Hammons) of Barbourville; his aunt Janet McWilliams of Louisville; his grandchildren, Megan Davis, Emily Suits and John Hiles; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Erica, Ava, Emma and Lilly; his nieces and nephews, Amy Sears Farris (Kelley), Bridgett Sears Elliott (Tyler), Jeremy Sears, David Michael Baird, Olivia Henson Holstein (James), Ian Henson (Bonnie) and Zachary Henson (Candace); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaylee Reynolds, Ayden Demaray, Dawson Elliott, Josie Elliott, Chloe Sears, Allie Holstein, Sophie Holstein, Conor Henson, Emma Woods and Montana House; and his friend Faith Gibson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
