She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Taylor and Omey Gray Taylor; her husband Billy James Barton; her son Timothy Adams; and her siblings, Dorothy Robbins, Geneva Robinson, Pauline Smith, Andrew, Noah, Ike and Raymond Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Allen, Bobby Adams and Roosevelt Adams; her granddaughters, Stacie Lynn Adams, Penny Nicole Anderson and Amber Adams; her great grandchildren, Jessie Storms, Abigail Byrd, Madison Bruner and Darrell Bruner; and her siblings, Martha Jane Karr and Tommy Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
