She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Allen and Mary Childers Allen (Clifton E. Mays, Jr.); her siblings, Juanita Branstutter, Vivian Hensley and James Allen; and her grandson Jeremiah Mays.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Jeanine Mays Strange (Michael), Teresa Lynn Mays Vasos (Troy) and Steven Allen Mays (Sarah); her grandchildren, Samantha Strange Spraggs, Clifton J. Vasos, Chad J. Vasos, Tabitha J. Strange, Makayla Messer Rose, Hunter A. Mays, Kailyn Grace Mays and Logan Eli Mays; her great grandchildren, Evelyn R. Vasos, Lucas A. Vasos and Alivia J. Rose; and also Betty. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, a sister-in-law, good friend.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hopper Funeral Home (302 N Broadway, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Barbourville Cemetery (106 KY-225, Barbourville, KY 40906).
