He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Gamblin Hourigan and Tilden Hourigan; and his siblings, J. L. Dee, Jerry, George, Bobby, Larry, Eugene Hourigan, Nannie Margaret Payne, Thelma Spalding, Fayrene Conder, Wandelle Shircliff, Linda Hourigan and Loretta Young Collett.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hourigan; his sisters, Juanita Hourigan, Theresa Robinson (Gerald) and Lorainne Morgan (Gary); and his children, Fred Cleaver Hourigan, Jr. (Rebecca), Rachel Lewis (Jamie) and Lea Lanier (Luke). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Beginnings Community Church (8876 Perryville Road, Springfield, KY 40069). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
