She was predeceased by: her husband Robert McDonald; her parents, Harvey Watson and Anny Lauvell Watson; her grandson Joseph Derek McDonald; and her brothers, Charles Watkins and Kenneth Watson.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael J. McDonald (Dilly) of Tiline and Randall D. McDonald of Grand Rivers; her grandchildren, Brandon McDonald and Brandi McDonald; and her great grandchildren, Madison McDonald, Evan McDonald and Braydon Hernandez. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
