He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Cothran and Lovene Swihart Cothran; his siblings, Bud, Wayne Cothran and Carrie Lee Johnson; and his nephew Joey Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Louella Cothran of Grand Rivers, KY; his children, Leigh Ann Osteen (Chris) of Hendersonville, TN, Natalie McLaughlin (Scott) of Nashville, TN and Allen (Emily) of Bowling Green, KY; his grandchildren, Audrey, Luke, Amelia Cothran, Ford and Miles McLaughlin; and his siblings, John and Janette Moneymaker (Danny) of Grand Rivers. He is also survived by two nieces and eight nephews.
