He was predeceased by: his father Cloyes Courtney. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Courtney; his wife Loretta Courtney of Grand Rivers; his children, Aniah Courtney of Grand Rivers, Bonnie Ross of Mayfield, Michial Courtney (Chrissy) of Melber, Kyle Edward Courtney of Paducah and Shawn Mathis of Mayfield; and his siblings, Cathy Henson (Rickie) of Paducah and Calvin Courtney (Dianna) of Paducah.
