He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Mattie Rolley Cunningham; his parents, Strother Cunningham and Betty Cunningham; his parents-in-law, Archie and Mary Rolley; and his brother Levoy Rolley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Donald "Patricia" Rolley, Jerry, Daffine, Barbara Nell "Talmadge" Shutt, Lois "Darrel" Groves, Daphne "Richard" Cobb, Aliene "Bobby" Oldham and Joyce "Mike" Ray; and his sister-in-law Reginia Rolley.
