Bobby J. Oates Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby J. Oates of Graham, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Oates and Ada Oates; his brother Elmo Oates; and his former wife Elizabeth Ann Oates. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue Durall Oates; his daughter Melonie Bingham (Chris); his stepchildren, Dwayne Durall (Kristi) and Kim Rodgers (Rob); and his grandchildren, Josh Durall, Sydney Durall, Coleman Bingham and Kyle Bingham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 1:49 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330).
