He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Clark and Irene Swartwood Haxton; his siblings, Ruth Cook, Jean Greene, Cora Watson, Joe, Jerry, Walter, William and Victor Haxton; and his sons-in-law, Brian Hanke and Richard Edblom.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly McCracken Haxton; his children, Marianne Violette (Rodney) of Mississippi, Jo Edblom of Elizabethtown, Judy Mowrer (Eddie) of New Mexico, Rebecca Johns (Fred) of Colorado, Charles B. Haxton (Ida) of Minnesota, Stephen Haxton of Texas and James Haxton (Kim) of New York; and his brother John Haxton (Oleava) of New York. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 28 great- grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
