She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gullion and Virginia Sutherland Gullion; and her brother William "Billy" Howard Gullion. She is survived by: her husband Steven Shirley; her children, Joshua Shirley of Hanover, IN, Lorenda White (David) of Gallatin County and Timothy Davis (Shelia) of Glencoe; her grandchildren, Patrick Davis, Renda Slone (Joe) and Audrey White; and her great grandchild Aurora Slone.
