He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. "Whitey" and Virginia Yancey True; his brother William Ray "Bill" True; and his cousin C. W. "Corty" Yancey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Masters True; his daughters, Teresa "Terry" Oppold (Jim) of Cincinnati, OH, Jacquelyn "Jackie" McDaniel (John) of Dayton, OH and Danette "Dani" True (Bradley Morrison) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Adam Oppold, Clayton McDaniel and Eleanore McDaniel; his brother Bruce True (Patricia); and his cousin Lloyd Yancey.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to the Poplar Grove Baptist Church for the Cemetery Fund.
