It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Vernon Mains Jr. of Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mains Sr. and Odile Mains (Heckmann); and his brothers, Tony Mains, Jackie Mains and Russell Mains.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mains; his children, Nicole Compton (Jody), Wallace Mains (Marlyn), Paul Handley (Andrea) and Carline Bethel (John); his grandchildren, Luna Mains, Madison Mains and Kyle Compton (Hillary); his children, Kayla Evans (Cody), Rebecca Carr (Adam), Emma Osguthorp and Harry Osguthrop (Abby); and his siblings, Vickie Ellis (Chuck), Dellan Boggass and Jody Mains. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
