He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marvin Ritter and Kathryn Alyce Sharp Ritter; and his siblings, Col. James W. Ritter, Judith A. Ritter and Sandra Jo Browning.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon of Kentucky's State Resort Parks; his children, Katy Pierce (Nathaniel), Corey Ritter of Louisville, Jonathan Ritter (Janet) of Glasgow and Kelly MacLean (Nate) of Lebanon, TN; his grandchildren, Kolton Pierce, Connor Ritter and Ella Riley MacLean; and his sister Ramona Ritter-Deher (Albert) of St. Maarten. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
