He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Farlee (Timmy), Kathy Sacrey (Bill), William Jewell Bowles, III (Lisa), Steven Bowles (Sarah), Travis Bowles (Carol Ann), Jessica Bowles and Brandi Bowles (Lance); his niece Bertie Bowles; and his nephew Raymond Bowles. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
